Protests have been ongoing for the tenth day in Kyiv and other cities across Ukraine, demanding that Fedorov be reinstated to the Ministry of Defense

On July 25, the tenth consecutive rally in support of Mykhailo Fedorov took place in Kyiv and many other cities following his resignation as Ukraine’s defense minister. Participants called on the authorities to reconsider the personnel decision and reinstate him to his post.

Protests are continuing in the capital and in a number of Ukrainian cities. In particular, people are taking to the streets in Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Uzhhorod, Dnipro, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy, Mykolaiv, and other cities and towns.
Protesters are gathering with signs and chanting slogans in support of Fedorov. According to them, the main goal of the protest is to express public support for the former defense minister and to draw the authorities’ attention to their position.
As a reminder, on July 16, protests began in Kyiv, Lviv, and other major cities across Ukraine. The main reason was citizens’ opposition to the dismissal of Mykhailo Fedorov from his post as Minister of Defense.
Earlier, Mykhailo Fedorov officially confirmed that he was stepping down as Ukraine’s Minister of Defense. In his final address, he reported on the ministry’s achievements, thanked his team, the military, and international partners, and stated that he would continue to work on the development of defense technologies.
