The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved the appointment of Yevhen Khmara as acting Minister of Defense of Ukraine. The government’s decision officially took effect today, July 20, 2026.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Serhiy Koretsky announced that the Cabinet of Ministers, in consultation with the president, has appointed acting ministers of defense and foreign affairs.
