“We Discussed the Intensification of Russian Strikes and Ballistic Missile Defense”: Zelenskyy met with Kellogg in Kyiv

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with the former U.S. Special Representative to Ukraine, retired Lieutenant General Keith Kellogg, who arrived in Kyiv from Odesa to participate in the Veterans Forum.
The president announced this on his Telegram channel.

According to Zelenskyy, during the meeting, the parties discussed the intensification of Russian strikes on Ukrainian infrastructure and the civilian population. He emphasized that missile defense remains the top priority in Ukraine’s defense.
The president noted that he had informed Kellogg about the work being done with European partners to develop an anti-ballistic missile system. However, the delivery of interceptors for the Patriot systems remains essential to get through this winter.

As a reminder, on August 21, Keith Kellogg, former Special Representative of U.S. President Donald Trump for Ukraine, arrived in Ukraine and, together with an American delegation, visited the Odesa Commercial Seaport. During their visit to the Odesa seaport, the delegation inspected the damage caused by Russian strikes on the port’s infrastructure.
