The High Anti-Corruption Court set bail for MP Stolar at 300 million hryvnia

On September 11, the High Anti-Corruption Court imposed a preventive measure in the form of a 300 million hryvnia bail on a member of the Ukrainian Parliament. The court did not disclose the suspect’s name, but it is likely that the individual in question is MP Vadym Stolar.
This was reported by the High Anti-Corruption Court.
An investigating judge of the High Anti-Corruption Court granted the motion filed by a NABU detective—which had been approved by the Prosecutor General—and set bail for the member of parliament at 300 million hryvnias.
The MP is also required to appear whenever summoned by a NABU detective, a prosecutor, or the court, and may not leave Ukraine without proper authorization.
In addition, he must notify law enforcement authorities and the court of any change of residence and refrain from communicating with individuals specified in the court’s ruling.
The court also ordered the suspect to surrender his Ukrainian passport for travel abroad and other documents granting him the right to leave and enter Ukraine.
As a reminder, on August 20, Member of Parliament Vadym Stolar was charged under five articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. These charges include, in particular, the creation of a criminal organization, unlawful appropriation of property, forgery of documents, and unauthorized interference with information systems.
