NABU and SAPO launch “Carthage” operation at Prosecutor General’s Office, official detained
The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) are conducting a special operation to expose a criminal organization that, according to the investigation, was headed by an official from the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine. The organization is suspected of “providing protection” for a network of fraudulent call centers and laundering assets.

The High Anti-Corruption Court ordered Iryna Mudriy, a suspect in the "Forest Gump" corruption case, to remain in custody or post bail of 20 million hryvnias. By the weekend, this amount had not been paid.
