The High Anti-Corruption Court set bail at 7 million hryvnias for Mykola Hladyshenko, the former chairman of Sense Bank’s supervisory board, in the “Forest Gump” case.

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) are conducting a special operation to expose a criminal organization that, according to the investigation, was headed by an official from the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine. The organization is suspected of “providing protection” for a network of fraudulent call centers and laundering assets.

The High Anti-Corruption Court ordered Iryna Mudriy, a suspect in the "Forest Gump" corruption case, to remain in custody or post bail of 20 million hryvnias. By the weekend, this amount had not been paid.

Kyrylo Budanov, head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, commented for the first time on reports that his name was mentioned in wiretap recordings involving Iryna Mudra, the former deputy head of the Office of the President.

A prosecutor from the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office is requesting that Oleksiy Stupak, chairman of the board of “SENS Bank,” be subject to a preventive measure in the form of pretrial detention, with the alternative of posting bail in the amount of 150 million hryvnias.

The High Anti-Corruption Court has imposed a preventive measure on Iryna Mudriy, the former deputy head of the Office of the President, who is implicated in the “Forest Gump” high-level corruption case.

During the High Anti-Corruption Court hearing to determine a preventive measure for Mudriy, the defense team for the former deputy head of the Office of the President asked the court to impose a less severe preventive measure on her.

The High Anti-Corruption Court ordered former lawmaker Maksym Mykytas to be remanded in custody, with the option of posting bail of 30 million hryvnias. The prosecutor’s office had requested 200 million hryvnias.

The NABU and the SAP have exposed a criminal organization operating under the leadership of a current and a former member of the Ukrainian Parliament, with the participation of high-ranking officials from the Office of the President. Among other things, the organization’s goal was to seize real estate in Kyiv worth 500 million hryvnia.

The Verkhovna Rada summoned Andrii Pyshnyi, the head of the National Bank of Ukraine, to report on the state-owned “Sens Bank,” which is implicated in a corruption case.
