A portion of the bail for Iryna Mudra has already been paid, – Suspilne

Artem Krykun-Trush, the former official’s attorney, told Suspilne about this.

The lawyer did not specify exactly how much had already been paid. According to him, the bail is being paid by several guarantors.

As a reminder, it was previously reported that the High Anti-Corruption Court imposed a preventive measure on Iryna Mudriy, the former deputy head of the Office of the President, who is implicated in the “Forest Gump” high-level corruption case.

Prior to that, on August 24, the High Anti-Corruption Court continued its consideration of a motion to impose a preventive measure on Iryna Mudriy, the former deputy head of the Office of the President, whom the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) suspect of involvement in laundering 150 million hryvnias to post bail for one of the defendants in the “Midas” case.

A SAPO prosecutor stated that Mudriy and Mykytas systematically deleted information from their phones, destroyed documents related to the case, used foreign phone numbers, and communicated via the secure messaging app Threema.
