Zelenskyy offered Fedorov a new government position

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Mykhailo Fedorov and offered him a new position to strengthen the country's technological sector.
He announced this in an evening address.
According to the head of state, Fedorov’s new position is intended to strengthen Ukraine’s security capabilities.
“I offered Mykhailo a prominent position in the government that would allow him to bring together the technological sector of our country and ensure its development,”

The Goal of Personnel Decisions
The President emphasized that the main goal is victory over the enemy and creating conditions to compel Russia to make peace.
We all share the same desire—to defeat the enemy and to create conditions on the front lines and through pressure on Russia that would force Russia to make peace. Tomorrow we will formalize all decisions. Ukraine must emerge stronger from this situation, and it will be more difficult for Russia

According to People’s Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak, “we’re talking about the position of either deputy prime minister for military-technical cooperation or presidential advisor.”
It is not yet known how Mykhailo Fedorov responded to the president’s proposal. According to presidential adviser Dmytro Lytvyn, “they will likely continue their discussions tomorrow.”
As a reminder, Zelenskyy also announced that he had dismissed Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Syrskyi and appointed Drapaty as the new Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
