The Prosecutor General of Ukraine confirmed the information provided by the Anti-Corruption Action Center that he is currently abroad. Kravchenko noted that he is on a business trip and plans to brief his partners on the "actual state of affairs within the anti-corruption agencies".

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy responded to this morning’s statement by Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko. In particular, the head of the Office of the Prosecutor General claimed that the true purpose of Operation "Carthage" was allegedly to gain access to materials from criminal proceedings involving the leaders and employees of NABU and the SAP, and subsequently to remove the Prosecutor General and halt the adoption of procedural decisions in these cases.

Ukrainian Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko stated that he had signed a notice of suspicion against NABU Director Semen Kryvonos for "forgery of documents." The second notice of suspicion concerns an individual close to Oleksandr Klymenko (head of the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office).
