The Prosecutor General of Ukraine confirmed the information provided by the Anti-Corruption Action Center that he is currently abroad. Kravchenko noted that he is on a business trip and plans to brief his partners on the "actual state of affairs within the anti-corruption agencies".

The Center for Political and Legal Reforms (CPLR), however, claimed that the Prosecutor General "signed a statement addressed to the director of the NABU in exchange for the opportunity to flee abroad".
Before leaving the country, Ruslan Kravchenko recorded a video alleging that the NABU director and a close associate of the SAPO head had committed crimes. According to the CPC, Kravchenko left the country last night. Such a departure was possible only with the consent and permission of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy

As a reminder, this morning, Ukraine’s Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko stated that he had signed a notice of suspicion against NABU Director Semen Kryvonos for "forgery of documents". The second notice of suspicion concerns a person close to Oleksandr Klymenko (head of the SAPO).
Kravchenko emphasized that Operation "Carthage" was directed not only against him, and added that prior to signing the charges, he had been "politically restrained by the president".
Meanwhile, the NABU and the SAP responded that they view the Prosecutor General’s actions as a continuation of a systematic attack on the independence of anti-corruption agencies.
For his part, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reacted to Ruslan Kravchenko’s morning statement. The Ukrainian leader called on lawmakers to immediately support the official’s dismissal.
