On August 7, 2026, on the eve of Yalta City Day, operators from “Group 13,” a special unit of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, staged a parade of Magura combat marine drones off the waterfront.
This was reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate.
Thus, the free city’s long-standing festive tradition has been revived—a ceremonial parade of Ukrainian military ships and vessels along the city’s waterfront.
The Main Intelligence Directorate emphasized that the parade serves as yet another reminder to the Russian occupiers: Crimea is Ukraine.
Exclusive footage of the special pre-holiday parade was set to a Ukrainian song about Yalta.
As a reminder, an attack was reported in occupied Yalta. The Yalta seaport may have been targeted. Eyewitnesses also reported a major fire near the waterfront.
In addition, on the night of August 6, explosions were heard at the “Gvardeyskoye” military airfield in occupied Crimea. According to preliminary information, a fuel and lubricants depot caught fire as a result of the strikes. The fire was massive, and the flames were visible from several kilometers away. In addition, at least two separate fire outbreaks were recorded.
Also, a special operations unit from Group 13 of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense destroyed a Russian “Pantsir-S1” anti-aircraft missile and gun system and a military crane belonging to the occupiers in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
