Throughout the day on August 18, enemy drones attacked the capital. Debris was reported to have fallen at two locations.

According to updated data from the Ukrainian Air Force, on August 18 during daylight hours (from 7:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.), the Russians attacked Ukraine with 76 “Shahed”-type jet-powered UAVs.

The Kyiv region was the main target of the attack. According to preliminary data, more than 70 enemy jet-powered UAVs were shot down or neutralized.

Information regarding the impact of the UAVs and the crash sites of the downed ones at several locations is currently being verified.

After 6:30 p.m., more than twenty additional jet-powered UAVs appeared in Ukrainian airspace.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko provided an update on the consequences of the attacks.

In the Dnipro district of Kyiv, debris from an enemy drone fell into the courtyard of a five-story residential building. There was no fire.

Parts of a drone also fell at another address in the Dnipro district.

Fortunately, there were no fatalities or injuries.

As a reminder, on the morning of August 18, the Russians attacked the Kyiv region with drones: in Brovary, two private homes, two cars, an office building, and a warehouse serving EVA stores were damaged.
