MP Oleksandr Goncharenko stated that the Temporary Investigation Commission is demanding that the National Police conduct an internal investigation into the mobilization of Mykola Kulichenko on June 26, 2026, in the Chernihiv region.
The decision was made at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada’s Temporary Investigative Commission on the Investigation of Possible Violations of Defense Legislation.

His status as a prisoner of war in Russia was not confirmed, so he was unable to obtain a deferment. The Chernihiv Regional Military Registration and Enlistment Office and the Special Purpose Unit emphasized that, at the time of his delivery to the Military Registration and Enlistment Office, he had no documented grounds for deferment and was deemed fit for military service. Furthermore, he did not file any complaints regarding his health.
Oleksandr Honcharenko stated that the TSK is demanding that the National Police conduct an internal investigation into the actions of the local police officer in the village of Dovzhik, Chernihiv Oblast.
When a person was in Russian hands for several days, when he was shot. What does captivity even mean then? Well, that’s beyond comprehension.
