One dead and more than 40 wounded: the aftermath of Russian strikes on the Kherson, Dnipropetrovsk, and Mykolaiv regions

Kherson Region: One casualty and over 70 damaged buildings

According to Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, the enemy targeted residential neighborhoods, critical infrastructure, and social infrastructure facilities.

One person was killed and 31 others were wounded as a result of Russian shelling.

Four high-rise buildings and 72 private homes were damaged in the region. In addition, the occupiers destroyed a store, a library, a gas pipeline, and private vehicles.

Dnipropetrovsk Region: Attack on a Grain Warehouse and Seven Wounded

In the Dnipropetrovsk region, the enemy attacked the Nikopol and Synelnykiv districts more than 10 times with drones and artillery, according to OVA head Oleksandr Hanzha.

Seven people were injured as a result of the shelling. An 18-year-old man was taken to the hospital in serious condition, while two other men, aged 37 and 60, are in moderate condition. Four people are receiving outpatient treatment.

Among civilian infrastructure, a grain warehouse, a gas station, a private home, a tractor, and several vehicles were damaged.

Mykolaiv Region: Strike on the Port and a Civilian Vessel; Family with a Child Injured

According to Georgiy Reshetilov, acting head of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration, the occupiers attacked the region with various types of strike UAVs, including “Shahed/Gerbera,” “Molniya,” and “Klin.”

Port and transportation infrastructure in the regional capital were hit, resulting in damage to a civilian vessel.

In total, five people were injured in the Mykolaiv region:

• Two men were injured in Mykolaiv and the Veselynivka community.
• In the Vesnyanska community, three members of the same family—a 4-year-old girl, her 29-year-old mother, and her 61-year-old grandfather—were injured as a result of a strike by a “Klyn” UAV. All of the injured are receiving outpatient treatment.

Two gas stations, a private home, and at least four cars were also damaged in the region.

As a reminder, over the past 24 hours, on August 1, russian troops carried out nearly a thousand strikes on the territory of the Zaporizhzhia region. The invaders used aircraft, artillery, and hundreds of drones of various types. As a result of the shelling, there was one fatality and one injury among the civilian population.
