Over the past 24 hours, on August 15, Russian troops carried out more than a thousand strikes on the territory of Zaporizhzhia Oblast. As a result of the enemy attacks, three civilians were killed, and nine others sustained injuries of varying severity.

This was reported by Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.

In the Zaporizhzhia district, a private home was destroyed when a Russian guided aerial bomb struck Viktorivka. A 66-year-old man and a 64-year-old woman were killed at the scene.

Another airstrike with a guided bomb was recorded in Mykhailivskyi, where a residential building was damaged and a 39-year-old man was wounded.

In addition, as a result of other enemy attacks on the Zaporizhzhia district, one more person was killed, and eight civilians were wounded.

In total, over the past 24 hours, the occupiers carried out 1,034 strikes on 55 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. The enemy used drones and other types of weaponry in the attacks:

  • Drones: 743 UAV attacks (primarily FPV drones).
  • Artillery: 270 artillery strikes.
  • Airstrikes: 21 airstrikes.

Law enforcement and local authorities recorded 28 reports of damage to and destruction of private homes, vehicles, and infrastructure.

As a reminder, on the evening of August 15, the occupiers attacked a farm in the Zaporizhzhia district. A 61-year-old man was injured in the strike, and hangars and agricultural equipment were damaged. A fire broke out on the farm’s grounds.
