On the night of Friday, August 15, Russian forces launched a drone strike on the town of Marganets in the Nikopol District. An enemy drone struck a high-rise residential building. A three-month-old boy was killed in the attack.

This was reported by Oleksandr Hanzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, and Mykola Lukashuk, chairman of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council.

According to the Regional Military Administration, 11 people sustained injuries of varying severity as a result of the strike. Seven of them have been hospitalized in serious condition.

Among the injured are two children – a 5-year-old boy and a 12-year-old girl. Medical personnel are currently providing all necessary care to everyone.

As the head of the regional council clarified, the occupiers used a “Shahed”-type attack drone to strike civilian infrastructure.
