Over the past 24 hours, Russian occupation forces launched massive strikes on the territories of the Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, and Mykolaiv regions. The enemy used aircraft, artillery, and hundreds of drones of various types in the attacks. As a result of the shelling, more than 30 people were wounded, including a child.
This is evidenced by data from the regional military administrations.
Kherson Region
According to Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, the region was subjected to enemy airstrikes, drone attacks, and artillery shelling.
Russian forces targeted critical and social infrastructure, as well as residential neighborhoods. As a result of the strikes, six high-rise buildings, four private homes, a supermarket, administrative buildings, a store, a pharmacy, agricultural equipment, private garages, and cars were damaged.
As a result of Russian aggression in the Kherson region, 28 people were injured, including one child.
Zaporizhzhia Region
Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, reported that over the past 24 hours, the occupiers carried out 971 strikes on the region’s territory. The enemy carried out the attacks using 11 airstrikes, 251 artillery strikes, and 709 drones (primarily FPV drones).
Three people were injured as a result of enemy FPV drone attacks on civilian vehicles in the Zaporizhzhia district. In the village of Ukrainka, a drone struck a car driven by a 65-year-old man. Two more people—a 62-year-old man and a 58-year-old woman—were injured in another car near a railroad crossing. All those injured are receiving the necessary medical care.
In total, law enforcement officials have recorded 44 reports of damage to homes, vehicles, and infrastructure in the region.
Mykolaiv Oblast
As noted by Georgiy Reshetilov, acting head of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration, the region came under attack by “Shahed/Gerbera,” “Molniya,” and FPV drones.
A 59-year-old woman was injured in the drone attack and was hospitalized in stable condition. In addition, enemy drones damaged a farm’s warehouse, two administrative buildings, and a gas station.
As a reminder, on the night of August 15, a fire broke out at a shopping center in Zaporizhzhia due to a Russian attack; a drone strike on the territory of an industrial enterprise was also recorded.
That same night, the enemy attacked the city of Marganets in the Dnipropetrovsk region. An enemy drone struck a multi-story residential building, killing a three-month-old boy.
