The National Security and Defense Council will be strengthened to respond more quickly to the consequences of Russian attacks, says Zelenskyy

Following a briefing by National Security and Defense Council Secretary Ihor Klymenko, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced plans to strengthen the capabilities of the National Security and Defense Council.
The president wrote about this on his Telegram channel.
According to him, in addition to coordinating processes in the security and defense sectors, a more realistic assessment of all parameters of the state’s resilience is needed.
Responding to man-made emergencies, mitigating the consequences of Russian attacks, and carrying out tasks to prepare regions and communities for the winter season and related challenges—all of this must happen much more promptly

Measures were identified to achieve better results in cybersecurity, information resilience, and countering Russian information operations.
Zelenskyy also approved the necessary organizational and personnel decisions for Klymenko. They agreed to change the approaches to setting the agenda and monitoring the implementation of decisions by the General Staff and the National Security and Defense Council.
As a reminder, Zelenskyy named three key priorities for preparing for winter. The president also stated that Ukraine will receive three times fewer anti-ballistic missiles this year than in previous years.
