Russia launched a massive attack on the Odesa region: power facilities and warehouses were damaged

On the night of August 24, Russia launched a massive missile and drone attack on the Odesa region. The main targets were energy and gas infrastructure facilities, as well as warehouses.
This was reported by Oleg Kipper, head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, and the State Emergency Service’s press office.
The strikes caused fires at several locations. Private homes and summer cottages were also damaged. Dry grass caught fire near some of them.
In the suburbs of Odesa, a forest belt caught fire after being hit. According to preliminary information, there were no fatalities or injuries as a result of the attack.
Cleanup efforts following the Russian attack are currently underway at the sites of the strikes.
As a reminder, on the morning of Sunday, August 23, in the Odesa region, a Russian “Shahed”-type jet-powered drone struck the locomotive of passenger train No. 147 traveling from Zhytomyr to Odesa, which was carrying nearly 600 passengers.
