On the morning of August 31, Russian troops carried out an airstrike on Sloviansk in the Donetsk region. The occupying forces used a FAB-500 aerial bomb.

This was reported by Slovyansk Mayor Vadym Lyakh.

The strike was recorded in a high-rise building in the city center. As a result of the strike, one of the building’s stairwells was destroyed from the first to the fifth floor. A private home was also damaged.

Four people are currently known to have been injured. All of the injured are receiving medical care.

In addition, at least 32 high-rise buildings, a hotel, a kindergarten, and several cars were damaged.

Cleanup efforts following the Russian strike are ongoing in the city.
