Saratov was attacked by drones overnight: locals reported explosions and air defense activity

This was reported by monitoring Telegram channels.

According to their reports, air defense systems were activated in Saratov. In Engels, there were reports of drones being shot down and debris falling.

Roman Busargin, governor of the Saratov region, confirmed the drone attack. He stated that the region had received information from the Russian Ministry of Defense about a UAV threat, and that emergency services had been placed on full alert.

Later, Busargin reported damage to civilian infrastructure in Saratov.

There is currently no independent confirmation of this information.

As a reminder, earlier, on September 8, there were reports of a fire and explosions following a drone attack in occupied Melitopol. Local residents also posted footage of the fire and the aftermath of the strike.
