Russian forces have been attacking the Kyiv region with drones for the sixth consecutive day.

This was reported by Timur Tkachenko, head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration, and Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.

Kyiv

On September 1, 13 people were injured in the capital as a result of Russian drone attacks. Three of them were from the suburbs of Kyiv.

In addition, falling drone debris was reported:

  • in the Holosiivskyi District—in an open area, where a fire broke out;
  • in the Solomyanskyi district—in a private home;
  • in the Sviatoshynskyi district—in an open area near private homes.

Kyiv Region

A woman born in 1971 was injured as a result of a drone attack in the Brovary district. She sustained a thigh injury.

A private home was also damaged in the district.

In the Bucha district, a Russian attack damaged warehouse facilities. A large-scale fire broke out. Rescue workers are on the scene extinguishing the fire.

As a reminder, on the night of September 1, a Russian attack claimed the lives of eight people in Kyiv. Five more residents of the capital were injured. In the Kyiv region, four people were killed and 13 were injured.
