“This is deliberate Russian terror”: Zelenskiy responds to enemy strikes on Chernihiv and Zaporizhzhia

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy stated that today’s Russian strikes on civilian targets in Chernihiv and Zaporizhzhia “constitute deliberate acts of terror and have no military justification whatsoever.” He also called on international partners to tighten sanctions against Russia.
The president announced this on his Telegram channel.
Zelenskiy commented on today’s Russian strike on the ATB supermarket in Chernihiv, where thirteen people are currently known to have been wounded and two killed, including a child. According to him, the enemy struck “directly at civilians without any military justification.”
The President also mentioned the recent airstrikes on Zaporizhzhia. There, one person was killed and another was injured by guided bombs.
“This is deliberate Russian terror that has no military justification whatsoever. We need stronger sanctions against Russia, more support for Ukraine, more resources to defend our skies, and more capabilities for our soldiers,”

As a reminder, over the past week, Russian troops have used more than 3,400 weapons against Ukraine, including drones, guided bombs, and various types of missiles. At the same time, ballistic missiles made up the bulk of the missile arsenal. Zelenskiy stressed that the Ukrainian side is working daily with international allies to strengthen the capabilities of Ukrainian soldiers to counter this massive terror.
