Two people were killed in an attack in Zaporizhzhia

On the night of September 12, Russian drones attacked Zaporizhzhia. Two people were killed and another woman was injured as a result of the strike on a residential area.
This was reported by Ivan Fedorov, co-chair of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Defense Council.
The enemy attack caused fires in the residential area, and damage was also reported. People may have been trapped under the rubble in one of the damaged buildings, so search and rescue operations were underway at the scene.
Rescuers later pulled two people from under the rubble of the building. They were handed over to medical personnel for examination. It was later reported that one of the victims had died as a result of the Russian strike.
Later, Fedorov reported another victim of the attack. While clearing the rubble of the destroyed building, rescuers recovered the body of a 37-year-old man.
According to updated information, a 64-year-old woman and a 37-year-old man were killed. Another woman, aged 59, was injured.
As a reminder, on the night of September 11, Russian troops also attacked Zaporizhzhia with drones. A 32-year-old woman and her 10-year-old son were injured in those strikes. Fires broke out in the city in a residential building, a shopping center, and an office building.
