Mass gatherings have long been banned in the Armed Forces of Ukraine: Ignat commented on the consequences of the strike on the training ground in the Kyiv region

This was stated by Yuriy Ignat, head of the Communications Department of the Ukrainian Air Force, during an appearance on “Yedyny Novyny.”

Yuriy Ignat, head of the Communications Department of the Ukrainian Air Force, responding to the enemy strike on the training ground, emphasized that any public gatherings in the military have long been strictly prohibited.

The spokesperson noted that the enemy attacked the training ground with high-speed ballistic missiles from the north and urged everyone to always respond immediately to missile threats, as ballistic missiles remain extremely dangerous.

Ignat also added that the competent authorities must thoroughly investigate whether there were any security breaches during the exhibition.

The civilian sector of the defense industry also reacted to the attack. The Ukrainian Council of Arms Manufacturers stated that, once the circumstances of the strike are clarified, they will initiate joint efforts with the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) to further strengthen security during interactions among representatives of the defense industry.

As a reminder, on Friday, July 24, Russian troops allegedly carried out a targeted strike on the training ground where the arms exhibition was taking place. The strike resulted in fatalities and significant damage. At the same time, participants in the arms exhibition confirmed the Russian strike on the training ground. According to them, there are currently not enough emergency medical teams at the site of the attack. As is known, the announcement of the exhibition at the open-air training ground was freely available online.

It was later reported that 10 people were killed in the attack, and about 100 people sustained injuries of varying severity.
