Over the past 24 hours, on August 14, Russian troops launched massive strikes on Kharkiv and other towns and villages in the region. As a result of the enemy shelling, six people were injured and suffered acute stress reactions.

This was reported by Oleg Synyegubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.

The enemy used various types of weapons in its attacks on the region. Over the past 24 hours, four missiles, seven guided aerial bombs (GABs), and more than 50 drones of various types (including “Lancet,” “Molniya,” and FPV drones) were recorded as having struck the region.

As a result of the shelling, three men sustained blast injuries and other trauma. Three other civilians sought medical assistance due to acute stress reactions. All victims received the necessary care.

The enemy strikes caused damage to residential areas, as well as social and economic infrastructure in several districts of the region:

  • Residential sector: 10 apartment buildings in Kharkiv were damaged, as well as a number of private homes and outbuildings in communities across the region.
  • Agricultural sector: Storage facilities, a farm, and a grain elevator were hit. Fifty metric tons of grain and a grain cleaning machine were destroyed; a wheat field was damaged; and livestock were affected.
  • Social and commercial facilities: A preschool building, a shopping center, a church, and private vehicles sustained damage.

As a reminder, over the past 24 hours, Russian occupation forces launched massive strikes on the territories of the Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, and Mykolaiv regions. The enemy used aircraft, artillery, and hundreds of drones of various types in the attacks. As a result of the shelling, more than 30 people were wounded, including a child.
