Over the course of a week, Russia used nearly 3,900 weapons against Ukraine, the majority of the drones were jet-powered

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this.

In total, over the past seven days, the Russian military has launched the following against Ukrainian cities and communities:

• About 2,100 attack drones (a significant portion of which are “Shahed” rocket-powered drones, which the Russians are using to inflict maximum damage on civilian infrastructure and the economy, Zelenskyy emphasized);
• Nearly 1,700 guided aerial bombs (GABs);
• 78 missiles of various types.

The head of state noted that during the latest nighttime and morning attacks, energy facilities, Ukrzaliznytsia infrastructure, private enterprises, and residential areas came under enemy fire. In particular, Odesa was subjected to a massive attack with missiles and UAVs, while in the western regions, efforts to address the aftermath of the shelling are ongoing.

Zelenskyy once again called on international partners to continue investing in the defense of Ukraine’s airspace.

As a reminder, on September 12, Zelenskyy commented on the massive drone attack on Ukraine. According to him, since Saturday morning, Russian troops have launched nearly 500 attack drones at Ukraine in an effort to “destroy” the Ukrainian economy.
