Russia uses about 220 guided bombs every day against Ukrainian communities near the front lines. Despite international sanctions, the Russian defense industry continues to produce and modernize these weapons.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy made this announcement.

Zelenskyy emphasized that to reduce Russian attacks, it is necessary to increase sanctions pressure on the entire supply chain of foreign components used by the Russian military-industrial complex.

Russian missiles, bombs, and drones can be stopped not in our airspace, but at the production stage

The head of state also added that Russian attacks last night once again caused destruction and casualties in several regions of Ukraine. In particular, the Donetsk, Sumy, Cherkasy, Kherson, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Odesa, Kharkiv, Zhytomyr, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, and Chernihiv regions were targeted by enemy strikes. There are casualties, including children, and residential buildings and infrastructure facilities have been damaged.

As a reminder, Russian troops attacked the Kirovohrad and Sumy regions. A strike on an infrastructure facility in the Kropyvnytskyi district caused a fire. A private home and dry grass also caught fire.
