Reports from Penza indicate an attack on the Wildberries sorting center

Residents of Penza reported explosions and a fire on the night of July 30. Oleg Melnichenko, governor of the Penza region, described the incident as a “terrorist attack” by drones on a Wildberries warehouse.

According to him, one person was injured as a result of the attack, and about 200 employees were evacuated. Firefighters, rescue workers, medical personnel, and law enforcement officers are on the scene. According to the governor, a fire is still burning on the premises of the logistics center.

Earlier, the OSINT projects ASTRA and Dnipro Osint, after analyzing publicly available photos and videos, identified the targeted facility as the Wildberries logistics center in the village of Mastynivka, Bessonovsky District, Penza Oblast.

Wildberries’ press service confirmed that a fire broke out at the logistics facility as a result of the attack. Due to the incident, logistics chains have been reorganized, and the receipt of shipments and dispatch of orders are temporarily being handled through other facilities.

According to publicly available data, the logistics complex covers an area of approximately 180,000 square meters upon completion of construction. It serves as a major distribution center for the Volga Federal District of the Russian Federation.
