In Ukraine, peaceful protests in support of former Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov have continued for 23 consecutive days.
Citizens took to the streets of Kyiv, Dnipro, Rivne, Poltava, Cherkasy, and other cities with homemade signs on pieces of cardboard.
The protesters’ main demands remain the reinstatement of Mykhailo Fedorov as defense minister and the establishment of an open and transparent dialogue between the government and the public.
In the capital, protesters traditionally gathered with cardboard signs reading “Fedorov – Minister of Defense” and publicly recited passages from the Constitution of Ukraine.
As a reminder, President Zelenskyy reshuffled the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC): he removed Fedorov from the list. Oleksandr Syrskyi, Ihor Klymenko, Yulia Svyrydenko, and Oleksii Sobolev were also excluded from the NSDC.
