Russia launched a ballistic missile attack on Kyiv: one person was killed

On the night of July 30, Russian forces launched a ballistic missile strike on Kyiv. One person was killed in the attack, and fires broke out in the Svyatoshyn and Obolon districts due to falling debris.

The Kyiv City Military Administration reported that one person was killed as a result of a Russian attack on the capital.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko stated that Russian forces are attacking the capital with ballistic missiles. In the Svyatoshynsky district, falling debris caused fires on the grounds of a non-residential complex and in a garage cooperative. A fire also broke out on the grounds of a non-residential complex in the Obolonsky district.

No information on casualties has been reported so far.

According to Klitschko, the threat of further strikes remains, so residents have been urged to remain in shelters.
