Russia launched a ballistic missile attack on Kyiv: one person was killed, and the number of casualties is rising

Rescue workers have completed emergency rescue and cleanup operations at all locations in Kyiv that were affected by the Russian attack on the night of July 30.

According to updated data from the State Emergency Service, one person was killed and three others were injured. The shelling caused fires and damage in the Obolon and Sviatoshyn districts of the capital—at a market, a garage cooperative, and a five-story non-residential building.

In Kyiv, the number of people injured in last night’s attack has risen to three. This was reported by the Kyiv City Military Administration.

Police reported that a 31-year-old man was killed in the attack, and two others, aged 30 and 53, were injured.

Residential buildings, a market, a garage cooperative, warehouses, and vehicles were damaged in the city.

The Kyiv City Military Administration reported that one person was killed as a result of the Russian attack on the capital.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko stated that Russian forces are attacking the capital with ballistic missiles. In the Svyatoshynsky district, falling debris sparked fires on the grounds of non-residential buildings and in a garage cooperative. A fire also broke out on the grounds of non-residential buildings in the Obolonsky district.

The previous ballistic attack on Kyiv took place on the night of July 26. At that time, fires broke out in the Shevchenkivskyi, Solomianskyi, and Desnianskyi districts of the capital as a result of falling debris.
