Russian missile did not hit a military training ground: Ignat described what actually happened at the scene

This was reported by Yuriy Ignat, head of the Communications Department of the Ukrainian Air Force, according to “Novyny.LIVE.”

According to him, during the attack, Russia launched five missiles of various types at the Kyiv and Odesa regions. Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed one Iskander missile, and two Onyx missiles in the south failed to reach their targets.

Ignat also noted that law enforcement officials will investigate the circumstances surrounding the event, which had been advertised on social media the day before.

As a reminder, Ignat had previously reported that all public gatherings within the military have long been strictly prohibited.

On Friday, July 24, Russian troops allegedly carried out a targeted strike on the training ground where the arms exhibition was taking place. The strike resulted in fatalities and significant damage. Meanwhile, participants in the arms exhibition have confirmed the Russian strike on the training ground. According to them, there are currently not enough ambulance crews at the site of the attack. As is known, the announcement about the exhibition being held at the open-air training ground was freely available online.

It was later reported that 10 people were killed in the attack, and about 100 people sustained injuries of varying severity.
