Russian troops attacked the Sumy region with drones: one person was killed

On the evening of August 26, Russian troops launched a massive drone strike on the Romny community in Sumy Oblast; Ukrainian forces destroyed some of the drones. A 66-year-old woman was killed in the attack, and four other people sought medical attention.
This was reported by Oleg Grigorov, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration.
According to him, Russian drones struck civilian infrastructure, including a residential building. The extent of the damage is currently being assessed.
Preliminary reports indicate that the Russians launched nine UAVs at the community.

Earlier, on August 24, Russian troops attacked the Sumy region. On that occasion, a rocket-propelled UAV struck a warehouse in one of the districts, causing a fire.
