According to the head of the Regional Military Administration, Sumy came under a series of attacks by enemy drones throughout the evening of the 15th and into the night of August 16. Air defense units shot down some of the aerial targets, but the intensity of the attacks on the city remains high. Authorities are urging residents not to ignore air raid alerts and to stay in safe places, especially in the evening and at night.

As a reminder, 13 regions of Ukraine have been affected by Russian strikes this week, with the occupiers launching more than 1,550 attack drones, nearly 1,560 aerial bombs, and 62 missiles.
