Russian drones destroyed a shopping center in Kherson: the store areas were burned out and the roof collapsed

On the night of August 22, Russian occupation forces launched drone strikes on the Central District of Kherson. A shopping center was destroyed as a result of the strikes by attack drones.
This was reported by Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, and Yaroslav Shanko, head of the Kherson City Military Administration.
The attacks caused a massive fire in the building; the flames engulfed virtually the entire structure. As a result of the shelling, the retail areas were completely gutted, the roof collapsed in several places, and the glass facades and storefronts were damaged.
No residents of Kherson were injured as a result of the nighttime attack.
As a reminder, on August 12, in Zaporizhzhia, a massive fire broke out at the “Epicenter” hypermarket following an attack.
On August 15, as a result of another Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia, the “Epicenter” and an industrial enterprise were also hit.
On August 21, the enemy struck a shopping center in Kryvyi Rih. As a result of the attack, 16 people were killed, and the number of injured exceeded 100.
