Residential buildings are on fire in Lviv following a rocket attack; there are casualties

In Lviv, residential buildings on Paton and Vyhovsky Streets caught fire as a result of a Russian missile attack. According to preliminary reports, two high-rise buildings were damaged. Six people are known to have been injured so far.
This was reported by Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi and the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi.
Following the explosions in Lviv, Mayor Andriy Sadovyi reported preliminary damage to residential buildings.
A rescue operation is underway. All necessary emergency services are on the scene.

After the air raid siren was lifted, Maksym Kozytskyi reported that reports of casualties were coming in. Later, Sadovyi clarified that, according to preliminary data, six people were injured as a result of enemy shelling at two locations in the city.

On the night of July 30, Russian troops launched a combined attack on Ukraine. In particular, Kyiv was hit by a ballistic strike. One person was killed in the capital as a result of the attack, and fires broke out in the Sviatoshyn and Obolon districts due to falling debris.
