A shoe factory building was destroyed in the Odesa region following a nighttime UAV attack

On the night of Friday, August 15, Russian forces launched a drone strike on the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi District in the Odesa Region. As a result of the attack, a shoe factory building was damaged, and several fires broke out.
This was reported by the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Odesa region.
According to rescue workers, at one of the sites, a shoe factory building collapsed, followed by a fire in the cafeteria, boiler room, and a passenger car. In addition, the blast wave and debris damaged the windows and facade of the administrative building. The attack also caused a fire in an abandoned private residential house and set dry grass ablaze in the surrounding area.
According to preliminary information, there were no fatalities or injuries. Firefighters have already extinguished all fires.
As a reminder, on the night of August 15, a fire broke out in one of Zaporizhzhia’s shopping centers due to a Russian attack; a drone strike on the territory of an industrial enterprise was also reported.
Also on the night of August 15, Russian forces launched a drone strike on the city of Marganets in the Dnipropetrovsk region. An enemy drone struck a high-rise residential building. A three-month-old boy was killed as a result of the attack.
