On the night of September 10 in Makhachkala, the capital of Dagestan, local residents reported several strikes. Footage released online shows flashes and explosions, and eyewitnesses claim that one of the strikes may have hit the port area.

Earlier, on the evening of September 9, explosions and fires were reported in the area of the Sochi seaport. Locals reported air defense activity, and the Krasnodar Krai Operational Headquarters confirmed damage to beach infrastructure and the adjacent section of the waterfront.
