The death toll from the Russian missile strike on an arms exhibition in the village of Kapitanivka in the Kyiv region has risen to eleven. One of the victims died in the hospital. Meanwhile, the prosecutor’s office is demanding that the event’s organizer be taken into custody.
This was reported by a Shelter correspondent.
Currently, the Solomyanskyi District Court of Kyiv is determining a pretrial measure for Vasyl Goncharuk, head of the Armada association. He is charged with professional negligence resulting in serious consequences. The penalty under this article ranges from 5 to 8 years in prison.
As a reminder, on Friday, July 24, Russian troops carried out a targeted strike on the site where the arms exhibition was taking place. The strike resulted in fatalities and significant damage.
At the time, it was reported that 10 people were killed in the attack, and about 100 people sustained injuries of varying severity.
