The ashes of Yevhen Konovalets, a colonel in the Army of the Ukrainian People’s Republic, commander of the Sich Riflemen, and first chairman of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists, were brought to the Patriarchal Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church in Kyiv. Currently, the coffin containing Konovalets’ remains is in the cathedral.

The organizer of the exhibition in Kapitanivka was taken into custody without the right to post bail

The Solomyansky District Court of Kyiv remanded Vasyl Honcharuk-head of the Armada association and organizer of the arms exhibition in Kapitanivka, which was targeted by a Russian missile strike on July 24-into custody. The court granted the prosecutor’s office’s motion and ordered the suspect to be held in custody for 60 days without the right to post bail.
