On August 12, during its live broadcast of the total solar eclipse, NASA used a map on which the occupied Crimea was marked as part of Russia.

On the night of August 12, the occupying forces reported a massive drone attack on Sevastopol. Russian air defenses allegedly shot down more than 30 drones.

On August 7, 2026, on the eve of Yalta City Day, operators from “Group 13,” a special unit of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, staged a parade of Magura combat marine drones off the waterfront.

On the night of August 7, Ukrainian Armed Forces units destroyed an early-warning radar, UAV relay stations, and other enemy targets in the temporarily occupied territories.

On the night of August 2, 2026, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out a series of precision strikes against key military and logistical facilities of the Russian occupation forces in Crimea and on Russian territory.

On the night of August 3, explosions and drone activity were reported in several areas of occupied Crimea. In Kerch, a fire broke out following one of the explosions, and in Feodosia, according to preliminary reports, a drone struck near an oil depot.

On July 28–29, the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ unmanned aerial vehicle units struck 10 more energy facilities in the temporarily occupied territories of Crimea, Kherson Oblast, and Luhansk Oblast.

On the night of July 28, reports emerged from the temporarily occupied city of Feodosia of a fire at a high-voltage power substation following explosions. According to eyewitnesses, power was cut off in most of the city.

Over the past 48 hours, the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ unmanned systems have struck 19 energy facilities in the temporarily occupied territories, including 17 in Crimea.
