Ballistic missile strikes by the Russian Federation are becoming more frequent just as rapidly as statements by Ukrainian officials about the upcoming “most difficult” winter. At a time when Ukraine needs autonomy in defending its airspace more than ever, U.S. President Donald Trump is casting doubt on the transfer of licenses to manufacture missiles for the Patriot air defense system.

On the night of August 5 (beginning at 6:00 p.m. on August 4), Russian occupation forces launched yet another massive combined strike against Ukrainian territory. The Kyiv region was the main target of the air attack.

The missile that struck the village of Tarnava-Kolonia in the Lublin Voivodeship, Poland, on the morning of July 30 was identified as a Russian Kh-101 cruise missile. Investigators also determined the location and date of its manufacture.

A Russian ballistic missile completely destroyed the home of the Voronov family, a large family, in the village of Radushne near Kryvyi Rih. The parents and at least three children were killed.

Last night, Russian occupiers launched a large-scale attack on Ukrainian territory. In total, the enemy fired more than 70 missiles-a significant portion of which were ballistic-and more than 280 attack drones. In the village of Radushne in the Dnipropetrovsk region, an enemy ballistic missile destroyed a residential building, killing parents and three children.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russia had prepared for a massive strike several days ago and that there is a high probability it will be carried out tonight.

Vladislav Vlasyuk, the President’s Representative on Sanctions Policy, stated that the “Oreshnik” ballistic missile, which Russia used to attack the Bila Tserkva area on May 24, consists exclusively of Russian and Belarusian components. No foreign parts were found in it.

Russian occupation forces launched yet another attack on civilian infrastructure in Sumy, striking one of the city's gas stations.

Russian troops once again launched a strike with smart-bombs on residential neighborhoods in Zaporizhzhia, killing two people.
