Russia attacked Kyiv region with ballistic missiles: there are dead and wounded in the Boryspil district

On Saturday afternoon, August 22, Russian forces launched a ballistic missile strike on the Boryspil District in Kyiv Oblast. One person was killed in the attack, and at least five others were injured.
This was reported by Timur Tkachenko, head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.
As a result of the strike and the resulting blast wave, a warehouse, a gas station, a parking lot with vehicles, several vehicles, and a private residence were damaged in the area. All operational and emergency services are working at the scene to address the consequences of the shelling.
Updated 13:41. Tkachenko clarified that the number of people killed as a result of the enemy attack in the Boryspil district has increased to two. The victims of the occupiers were a man and a woman. The number of injured people has also increased to eight people. Among them is a child.
According to the head of the Regional Military Administration, all those affected are receiving the necessary medical care, and the condition of the wounded is being assessed.
As a reminder, on the night of August 22, the Russian army also launched a massive combined strike against Ukraine using ballistic and air-launched missiles as well as drones, with the Kyiv and Odesa regions being the main targets. In particular, during the nighttime shelling in Kyiv’s Darnytskyi district, the enemy targeted a railway facility, resulting in the death of a worker.
