Russia launched a ballistic missile attack on Kyiv: four people were killed, 13 injured, and damage reported

This was reported by Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko and the Kyiv City Military Administration.

According to the Kyiv City Military Administration, four people were killed and 13 others were injured as a result of the Russian attack. One of the injured is in critical condition, Klitschko said. All of the wounded are receiving the necessary medical care.

The aftermath of the attack was observed in several districts of the city:

• Solomyanskyi District – a fire broke out in a six-story non-residential building. Additionally, people were trapped in a five-story residential building due to falling rocket debris, and a fire broke out in the courtyard. Furthermore, cars caught fire in the parking lot.
• Darnitskyi District – Debris was reported to have fallen on the grounds of a non-residential complex. A missile also struck the grounds of a non-residential complex. Additionally, warehouse buildings were on fire.
• Holosiivskyi District – Debris fell on the grounds of a non-residential complex.
• Shevchenkivskyi District – A fire broke out at a car wash. In a residential building where people are trapped, the first and second floors were partially destroyed.

As a reminder, on the night of July 30, Russia also launched a ballistic missile strike on Kyiv. One person was killed and three others were injured. Fires broke out in the Svyatoshyn and Obolon districts, damaging residential buildings, a market, a garage cooperative, warehouses, and cars.

At the same time, Russian propagandists on the “Solovyov Live” program claimed that the strikes on Kyiv were primarily intended to create a “media effect” rather than serve any military purpose. Ukrainian journalist Denis Kazansky noted that such statements effectively confirm that Russia is deliberately terrorizing the civilian population.
