Ukraine's attack

On the night of August 28, UAVs attacked a number of regions in Russia. The targets included "Slavneft-Yanos" in the Yaroslavl Region and the "Engels-2" airfield in the Saratov Region.

On the night of August 26–27, Ukrainian drones attacked logistics facilities belonging to the Russian e-commerce platform Ozon in Ufa and Orenburg. The company stated that all employees had been evacuated, there were no casualties, and no fires broke out at the facilities.

On August 25 and during the night of August 26, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a number of targets belonging to the Russian invaders.

On the night of August 24–25, local residents reported attacks on the Novoshakhtinsk Oil Refinery in the Rostov Region and the Afipsk Oil Refinery in the Krasnodar Krai. Explosions were reported at both facilities, and a fire broke out at the Afipsk refinery following the attack.

On August 24 and during the night of August 25, 2026, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces launched strikes against a number of Russian military targets. Among the targets hit were electronic warfare systems, a satellite communications station, fuel, lubricant, and ammunition depots, as well as a Russian fighter jet.

Unmanned aerial systems struck a MiG-29 fighter jet, four radar stations, and a number of military facilities on Russian territory and in temporarily occupied areas.

On the night of August 24, the Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out strikes against the “Kamensky” military-industrial complex in the Rostov Region of the Russian Federation. Fighter jets at the “Vityazevo” airfield in the Krasnodar Krai were also damaged.

Units of the Unmanned Systems Forces dealt yet another devastating blow to the enemy’s military equipment and strategic positions. In total, the Defense Forces struck 14 targets on Russian territory and in the temporarily occupied Crimea.

Throughout August 22 and into the night of August 23, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out successful strikes against a number of military targets belonging to the Russian occupiers in the temporarily occupied Crimea, in the Luhansk region, and in the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out a series of strikes on the occupiers’ military facilities in Crimea and on the territory of the Russian Federation. The destruction of an enemy Su-24M bomber, airfield equipment, a radar station, and drone storage facilities has been confirmed.
