Russian attack

On the evening of August 31, debris from drones was reported to have fallen in three districts of Kyiv.

The "Planeta Plastik" plant in Irpin, Kyiv Oblast, has suspended production indefinitely due to a sharp deterioration in the security situation in the region.

Smoke filled the air in Kyiv due to a fire at the "Aurora" chain's warehouses in the Bucha district, caused by a Russian strike. Traffic heading toward Kyiv has been blocked on the section of the Kyiv–Chop highway.

Throughout August 31, the Russians continued to shell Kherson and the surrounding region with drones and artillery.

Russian strikes on Zaporizhzhia have left people injured and damaged cars and a store.

The Russian occupation forces have once again struck the Odesa region. The enemy targeted a gas station and a "Nova Poshta" terminal.

On Sunday, August 30, Russian occupation forces carried out an airstrike on the village of Bilbasivka in Donetsk Oblast. Two people, including a child, were killed as a result of the enemy attack.

In the village of Mila, in the Bucha District of Kyiv Oblast, the death toll from the Russian strike and the subsequent explosion has risen to 38 people. Search and rescue operations and cleanup efforts are continuing around the clock at the scene.

On Sunday, August 30, the Russian Ministry of Defense officially announced that it had begun preparations for massive strikes on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.

Over the past week, Russian occupation forces have launched more than 3,600 airstrikes against Ukrainian territory. The strikes targeted civilian infrastructure, residential buildings, and communities near the front lines.
