Russian attack

A massive fire broke out in some warehouses in the Boryspil district of the Kyiv region following a Russian nighttime attack.

Since last night, efforts have been underway to deal with the aftermath of the Russian attack on regions of Ukraine. The Russians struck critical infrastructure and residential buildings.

On the night of August 26–27, Russian troops attacked Kyiv, including with ballistic missiles. A series of explosions rocked the capital, and air defense forces were activated.

On the night of August 27, Russian occupiers attacked industrial facilities in the Kremenchuk district. One of the energy facilities in the Myrhorod district was hit.

On the night of August 26–27, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with ballistic missiles and strike drones. As a result of the attacks in the Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Dnipropetrovsk, and Sumy regions, several people were injured, and a woman was killed in the Sumy region.

Over the course of August 26, the occupiers carried out 738 attacks on 56 settlements in the region.

On the night of August 27, Russian forces attacked Kryvyi Rih with two ballistic missiles. A series of explosions rocked the city.

On the night of August 27, Russian troops attacked Zaporizhzhia. Three people were injured as a result of the attack.

On the evening of August 26, Russian troops launched a massive drone strike on the Romny community in Sumy Oblast; Ukrainian forces destroyed some of the drones. A 66-year-old woman was killed in the attack, and four other people sought medical attention.

In the Odesa region, the "Vinogradivka–Vulkeniști" road border crossing, which had been damaged as a result of yet another attack by the Russian Federation, has resumed operations. Following initial restoration work, the crossing is once again processing travelers.
