Vehicles on the roadway in the Darnytskyi district of the capital were damaged by falling debris during an enemy attack. Twelve people were injured.

The Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense, and Intelligence stated that during an armed incident between SBU officers and GUR servicemembers in Kyiv, representatives of both agencies were at fault. The prosecutor’s office announced two charges in the case.

On the morning of September 2, Russian troops launched attack drones at the capital. As a result of the enemy attack, a high-rise residential building in the Shevchenkivskyi District and warehouses in the Holosiivskyi District were partially destroyed and caught fire. Medical and educational facilities were also damaged. There are reports of casualties.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that new measures are being prepared to respond to air raid alerts in Kyiv in light of changes in Russian strike tactics.

Today, September 2, Russian "shahids" struck one of Kyiv's universities while classes were in session. At the time of the attack, 160 students were in a shelter; therefore, according to preliminary information, there were no casualties among them.

Russian forces have been attacking the Kyiv region with drones for the sixth consecutive day.

Overnight, Russian troops launched ballistic missile strikes on the capital. The enemy targeted a railway depot and other railway facilities. As a result of the strikes, several Ukrzaliznytsia employees were killed.

The Russian attack on Kyiv on the night of September 1 claimed the lives of eight people. Five more residents of the capital were injured.

On the night of September 1, Russian troops attacked Kyiv. At 2:12 a.m., an air raid alert was issued in the capital due to the threat of attack drones.

On the evening of August 31, debris from drones was reported to have fallen in three districts of Kyiv.
