The level of corruption in the country is not decreasing, and bribery among top officials is actually on the rise. At the same time, the government is openly demonstrating a lack of political will to adequately combat such incidents, as evidenced by a number of unresolved issues.

On August 6–7, the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Unmanned Systems Forces conducted a large-scale operation deep within enemy territory.

When analysts try to envision a scenario that would satisfy Putin and persuade him to end the war, they cite two main points: the West would recognize the Russian dictator not merely as an equal, but as a leader with special demands that must be met; among these demands is the demonstrative humiliation of Ukraine in the final ceasefire agreements.
