In the Odesa region, Russian troops attacked a Ukrzaliznytsia locomotive for the second time on August 13. This time, a drone struck a diesel locomotive that was performing shunting operations. A child was injured in the attack.

Early on the morning of August 13, drones attacked Bashkortostan. In the city of Salavat, UAVs struck one of the Russian Federation’s largest oil refineries. A large Wildberries warehouse and distribution complex in the Chishminsky District is also on fire.

In the Odesa region, an enemy Shahed drone struck a passenger train directly. Two railway workers-the engineer and his assistant-were killed in the Russian attack.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine has only one-tenth (about 10%) of the interceptor missiles needed to defend against intense Russian ballistic missile attacks.

At around 9:50 p.m., Russian troops attacked civilians in the Korabelny district of Kherson.
