Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has appointed Serhii Beskrestnov (known by the call sign “Flash”), a well-known military blogger and expert in radio technology, as his advisor on the development of defense technology.

Due to the Russian army's constant and intense shelling, the authorities have ordered a mandatory evacuation from new neighborhoods and streets in Kherson.

The Solomyanskyi District Court of Kyiv has imposed pretrial measures on the executives of a defense contractor suspected of official negligence. This relates to the case involving the explosions at warehouses in Vyshneve, near Kyiv, that occurred on July 6.

Ukrainian defense forces struck two tankers, the patrol ship “Svetlyak,” an oil terminal, the “Slavneft-Yanos” oil refinery, and a number of other Russian military targets. The operation was carried out on July 16 and during the night of July 17 as part of efforts to reduce the aggressor country’s military and economic capabilities.

The Solomyanskyi District Court in Kyiv has begun proceedings to determine a pretrial measure for Ruslan Kuchynskyi – the first of two officials from a defense contractor suspected of official negligence following the explosions in Vyshneve, Kyiv Oblast.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on Russia’s latest massive nighttime attack, during which the enemy launched more than 130 attack drones and 8 missiles at Ukrainian territory. The occupiers carried out deadly strikes on a number of regions, including Odesa, where the number of casualties has risen to 10, including children. There are also reports of fatalities.

Last night, Russian forces carried out yet another massive attack on Ukraine. The enemy launched 151 drones and 13 missiles, 8 of which were ballistic missiles, killing two people in Kyiv and injuring five others, including a child.

Russian troops attacked a shared taxi in downtown Kherson with a drone. Three people were injured in the strike; all were hospitalized. It later emerged that the Russians had struck the city with a drone once again: a civilian vehicle was attacked, and among the injured were a man and two women.

Belarus’s self-proclaimed president, Alexander Lukashenko, stated that the so-called international “war party” is doing everything in its power to prolong the armed conflict in Ukraine.

During the massive nighttime attack on Kyiv, Ukraine’s air defense system failed to intercept any ballistic missiles or six “Zircon” missiles. Therefore, the Ukrainian defense minister will hold a series of talks today with his counterparts—the defense ministers of countries that have missiles for Patriot systems in their stockpiles.
